ASCS free Ladies Month seminar.
ASCS was part of the wellness day, self-protection talk to all staff.
ASCS trained 80 DUCT contract employees in “Basic Self-defense & Awareness Training.” Main tasks of encumbents is to clean river beds, educate the community on water environmental preservation issues, and eradicate alien plant species etc. along the Msunduzi river.
We participated in this event hosted by Miss Bachelorette South Africa 2020 finalist, Siphuxolo Mazwi, who took a stand against gender-based violence during the sixteen days of activism, raising funds for ThyRest Restoration Home, which serves women from all socio-economic backgrounds who have been victims/survivors of sexual abuse, rape and human trafficking.

Voortrekker High hosted us for 8 weeks to train with their senior students. Everyone had a good time, and learned a lot.

We conducted a short training seminar at Bonamanzi Game Reserve to assist their Anti-Poaching Unit (APU), and provided in-house DVDs to complement this training.

We conducted an 8-week self-defence course with the Epworth Grade 12 pupils. A lot of fun was had by all involved.
Towards the end of 2013, we participated in the UKZN Women’s Self-Defence seminar on the Pietermaritzburg campus. A good time was had by all involved.
